I didn’t think they were looking for mates this time of year!

This morning when I was putting on my socks, there was something in my sock that felt like a lint ball. So I pulled down my sock to get the lint ball out, and a huge spider crawled out and up my leg! I wish I had video of it for youtube because it was hilarious. I jumped up and bounced around my living room, making sure the spider wasn’t on me. I finally located it along the floor boards near the door. So I got some tissue and squished it, and took a picture for you! This type of spider is really common in my house, but not this time of year. They usually don’t come out till October, when they are looking for mates. This one is a male. What is surprising is that it didn’t bite me! This is the same type of spider that crawled across my face a couple years ago while I was sleeping and woke me up. If you know what type of spider it is please let me know. I know its not a wolf spider, or a hobo. xoxoxo Noname Jane
