Saturday!  The day I was going to get so much done!  Woke up tired.  Really tired.  Didn’t want to get up at all.  Made it to the expo around 1pm again.  Ran around a bit introducing Amber Chase to people I knew.  Finally got to meet the wonderful people over at Sweetheart Video.  Amber introduced them to me.  I’ve been wanting to shoot with them forever.  So fingers crossed!

Gave a big ol’ hug to Nina Hartley.  She’s so wonderful!  She was signing for Sweetheart Video.

Around 2pm I headed out of the Expo with Dick Danger to a shoot for Dave Michael.  Dave bought me a cute little outfit and a new vinyl skirt for the shoot.  He also bought me a rockin vibrator by Doc Johnson.  I did a little bit of a review for the vibrator and then fucked the shit out of it.  Almost silent, but packs quite a punch!  I’ll let you know where you can find the video as soon as it comes out.  Then I did another quick masturbation scene in the vinyl skirt on the bed.  Good times!

After we were done shooting the two scenes and pictures we caught a ride back to the hotel with Dave.  Then it was rush time to get ready for the AVN awards.  We had to be there at 6:30pm and it was already 5:45pm!  Got ready quick, but the dress I was going to wear didn’t look right, so I ended up wearing what I was going to wear to the Legends of Erotica show, since I didn’t go to it.  Actually the dress I wore wasn’t even a dress LOL!  It was a shirt I got at Ross.  I think I paid 6 dollars for it.  Dick Dangers tie cost more than my whole outfit!  Too funny.

Getting to the show was ummm….. difficult.  Monica Mayhem was nice enough to come pick us up at the hotel and drive us.  I love that girl so much!  The awards were at the Palms, and we didn’t want to drive the strip so we took back roads, but we ended up having to turn around 3 times because the road kept ending.  Construction in Vegas is insane right now.

When we finally got to the Palms we didn’t really know where to go.  We thought the red carpet started on this outside section, so we went on it first.  Apparently though we were going backwards, and the red carpet started on the inside of the Palms LOL.  So we walked the fan section twice!  We were  then corralled into a red carpet waiting area, where we were told to wait till 6:30pm to walk the red carpet.  But they didn’t tell us we needed to sign in!  So at 6:30pm we went to the little table, only to be told that we were too late to go on the red carpet.  I asked Mert what time it was, he told me 6:31pm.  I was freaking out, and about ready to start yelling at the lady at the little table, when one of the higher ups noticed the look on my face and came over to help.  I told him that we didn’t know we were supposed to sign in, and that we’d been standing there the whole time waiting for them to tell us where to go.  He asked to see our passes and moved us right in, thank god.  So we barely made it!  Then there was more waiting, as each person had to be announced, they wrote our names on pieces of paper that we handed to the guy at the beginning of the carpet.  They had little black X’s on the floor where we were supposed to stand.  There was around 4 of them in the first section, then there were reporters interviewing people at the end of the room.  By the time we had done the four X’s we didn’t really feel like being interviewed, but we did stop at the twitter desk to say hi and let them know our twitter id’s. So awesome that they had a twitter table at the porn awards! Finally a social networking site that is porn friendly!
After the red carpet the put us into a little room with a free bar. That’s right, free drinks! I must have had 8 by the time we headed into the awards show! I think I made a complete fool of myself trying to introduce myself to Joanna Angel. I just absolutely love her company and its image and style. So I guess I got a bit starstruck and stumbled over my words a bit. I think I said something like I really love your business model. I felt like a retard, but I had around 7 drinks in me at that point, although they hadn’t really hit yet. I got to chat a bit with Belladonna about our kids. Chatted with Jenna Haze about her 10,000 dollar dress she was wearing. Took a quick picture with the girls
Finally they sent us into the show. It really seemed like no one wanted to go out of the little room with the free bar. They had a heck of a time getting us into the theater. The show was great, Dave Attel is the shit. Belladonna’s dance routine was amazing. Honestly though, I don’t remember much else. I have no idea who won what. I was in the lobby when the show ended. I saw a ton of people and said hi to them, but I can’t remember who all I said hi to. I remember seeing Hayden, a girl that I had met on the set of a reality show I filmed last summer. Jenna Haze stormed past me with her entourage, very upset, talking about how they can just sue her then. Tried to make sure she was ok, but she closed the elevator door on me. Then we left the show and went to the MGM where there was a big after awards show party going on. We met up with Mike from The Exxxtacy Show and he gave us tickets to get in. I couldn’t see straight at that point. We got into the club, and lost Amber and Mert, who we were hanging out with. Me and Dick ended up sitting at someone’s private table, but they weren’t there so they didn’t mind. I met someone from a European distribution company who had just bought the rights to a movie I did called The Camera Club from Adam and Eve. I don’t really remember leaving the club, but when we got to the hotel I fell in the lobby and twisted my ankle. Then I couldn’t get up, and was creating a scene so Dick left me there. I’m not sure how I did it, but I managed to make it up to the room, bitching the whole way. Then we spent the rest of the evening hanging out with Mike, Amber and Mert. Kind of a bad ending to a fun night, stupid alcohol!
